Potters Poultry Ltd. offers a multi-tier
aviary system. The aviaries are offered
in a number of different configurations:
standard design for stocking density,
combination design with extra manure
belts, and combination design with
manure pit, as well as cage house
conversions. The systems offer five tier
rearing with two brooding levels and
hinged front doors for farmer access
to birds. The system comes with all
necessary perching and has lighting
available on all floors.
VDL Agrotech Rotra
Feeder
VDL Agrotech offers the Rotra Feeder
as a main feeding system add-on.
The feeder add-on is designed to
prevent migrating of birds at the start
of feeding becuase of uneavenly
spread feed, and to administer small
feed portions to activate birds on
feedless days. The Rotra Feeder is
fixed to a feed distribution system,
either straight lines, auger system
or circular disc chain system. A
transparent feed container is filled
automatically and sounds a buzzer
before feeding begins to attract birds
to the litter area.
Dorset Group biological
air washers
Dorset Group offers biological air
washers for laying hens and pigs. The
hen washer has the capacity to
clean 70 percent annual amount
of barn odor with a capacity of 2
cubic meters/hour, according to the
company. The pig washer has a 90
cm high filter layer and 50 meters
squared for cleaning a maximum of
100 cubic meters per hour, Dorset
says. The systems can be equipped
with or without a central ventilation
system and are custom-made on
request.
