live bird handling system
A live bird handling system which improves product quality and
optimises animal welfare at the same time: the new Meyn drawer
system incorporates both key aspects.
The system can handle capacities up
to 12,000 birds per hour and features
an extensive washing system for both
drawers and modules. Throughout the
entire system, module frames and drawers
are handled in a smooth and careful
way, resulting in lower stress levels and
improved end product quality. The system
can optionally be equipped with in-line
weighing of loaded and empty drawers as
well as integrated dust collection.
The modules as well as the handling
equipment in the processing plant are of
straightforward and robust construction.
They are designed for many years of
trouble free operation with a minimum of
downtime and maintenance.
