Brazilian owners for
Immunocorp Animal
Health
Biorigin, Brazil, purchased
Immunocorp Animal Health AS of
Norway. Company location, name
and crew remain unchanged.

Health. “Biorigin will give a
substantial contribution to the
further growth and development
of Immunocorp Animal Health.
The new owner is a dedicated
and exciting company that
invests heavily in research and
development with glucans for
animal use as their core product.”
As a part of the present sale, a
collaboration agreement between
the selling company Biotec
Pharmacon and Immunocorp
Animal Health will ensure
technology transfer from Biotec to
Biorigin for the further refinement
and development of the product.

WATT names new Poultry International editor
WAT T has announced
the appointment of
Mark Clements as editor
of Poultry International,
effective September 1.
Clements is a seasoned
agricultural journalist
with strong international
experience. He recently
was acting editor of
International Food
Ingredients magazine.
Prior to that assignment,
he spent nine years with Mark Clements, editor,
Animal Pharm, a print Poultry International
and online newsletter
covering the animal pharmaceutical
industry. He has also done extensive
consultancy and public relations for
clients including Pharma Times/Sales
Pro, Pfizer Animal Health, Nestle
Purina, BTG and others.
Clements will be based
in London and will oversee
the worldwide coverage
of the poultry industry
in Poultry International
and contribute to WAT T’s
poultry Web portal, www.

International breakfast
items from KFC
Ray Colon recently addressed the
summer meeting of the USA Poultry
and Egg Export Council (USAPEEC)
in Los Cabos, Mexico, saying that
KFC will add breakfast menus to
stores in Europe with test marketing
to commence shortly in the
UK. These would include egg dishes
along with chicken-based sausages,
waffles, juices and branded coffee.
The vice president of
international marketing noted that
KFC is flexible in adapting to local
cuisine, with examples like curried
chicken in Malaysia and Chinese
black peppered chicken in Japan.
