Modular processing system
Systemate Numafa has introduced
its Modular Compact Concept
in slaughtering and evisceration.
Comprising standard elements that
can be installed in virtually any
processing plant, the Concept requires
no overhead steel construction
and can be adapted and extended,
increasing both product variety and
line capacity. All equipment is made
of stainless steel and other noncorrosive materials, and is easy to
maintain and to clean, guaranteeing
optimal product hygiene and yield.
Installation time is short, minimising
production loss. Maximum capacity
is 4000 birds/hour in a weight range
1. 5-3.5kg.

Automatic nest
Zeus is the new automatic nest from
SKA. Made of multi-layered wood,
it has been designed and engineered
to suit the needs of modern breeders
and layers, providing a safe and
comfortable environment for birds
to lay their eggs. Eggs in the nest are
kept safe and clean, and the automatic
collection system requires less labour
and results in fewer floor eggs. The
nests can be positioned back-to-back
along the length of the house.

High-flow injectors
Dosmatic has newly re-engineered
its T100 Hybrid and T200 Hybrid
injectors. The design changes include
rugged internal mechanisms as well
as including new and larger hybrid
bearings with marine lubricants. The
improvements enable the injectors to
